For our client, international building materials supplier, we are looking for an IT Infrastructure Specialist.

Your new role

As an IT Infrastructure Specialist you will joina high performance team that is driven, innovative and packed with self-motivated individuals. As part of the team you will be responsible to support the day-to-day operations within the Data Center department, specialized on maintain and administrate the virtual environment.

Main responsibilities:

• Maintain & Administrate virutal environment
• Maintain & Administrate physical server infrastructure
• System Monitoring & Performance Tuning
• Performing 3rd Level support
• Documentation and recording in ticket system

Requirements:

• Experienced professional in IT infrastructure subjects
• Fluent in English
• Infrastructure process expertise
• Highly experienced in VMWare tech. product line
• Experience in other infrastructure services related to virtualization
• Knowledge of IT services related to:
  – Microsoft Windows Server administration
  – VMWare vSphere administration
  – Strong expertise in vMotion, HA, DRS, VDS, Affinity rules, vCenter, storage migrations, P2V migrations
  – VMWare ESX Server administration
  – VMWare Software patching
  – Firmware Updates of physical devices (server, tape library, etc.)
  – PowerShell scripting
  – Experienced with VDI deployment
