Accountant in SSC

Miejsce pracy: Poznań

For our Client, the international company – SSC in Poznań, we are currently looking for candidates for the position of: GL Accountant

Responsibilities:
– Booking/ Reconciliation of entries related to intercompany and GL accounts
– Supervision and follow-up on AP/AR/Intercompany items
– Month end and year-end closing activities according to internal financial procedures (e.g. material ledger reconciliation, prepare recurring accruals, payroll booking)
– Assisting with the preparation of monthly management reports
– Respond to questions from US Headquarters
– Ensure proper company policies and documented SOX procedures are being followed
– Support audit or other regulatory requests
– Build and maintain good working relationships with relevant teams across a wide range of areas throughout the organization

Requirements:
– 2 years’ experience in financial, international environment (AP/AR background is preferred)
– Experience in such fields as bank/ invoice/ intercompany reconciliation
– Experience with cash application, recharge processes, reporting and planning
– Solid know how of MS Office programs, especially Excel
– Fluent in English, any other European language will be considered as a plus
– Excellent communication
– Analytical and problem solving skills
